Finesse Travel Ltd may collect, use or disclose personal information,  such as your name, age, address, phone number, e-mail address, emergency contact information, passport information, travel medical information (where required), insurance details, ISIC information (where applicable), nationality, residency, nutrition preferences, trip evaluations, travel and accommodation preferences, comments you provide us, trip destination information, and payment-related information. This personal information enables us provide you with trip information, accommodations, process payments, and provide similar travel services.

We collect personal information to help us deliver an effective service as follows:
1.1  to fulfil any existing and/or future travel booking you make with us including necessary reservation, payment and ticketing arrangements and administration associated with the travel arrangements (exceptionally this may include sensitive personal data, for example relating to your health or disabilities) and you recognise that, by providing us with such sensitive personal data, you give your explicit consent to us to process such data for the purposes set out in this policy;
1.2 to provide any other product or service you have purchased from us;
1.3  to deal with any queries or requests you have regarding your booking and manage any amendments you may wish to make to travel arrangements or changes we need to advise you about;
1.4 to fulfil security, customs, immigration and border control requirements associated with your reservation which may include providing information to the police and appropriate government agencies;
1.5 to make information available to appropriate third parties where necessary in the event of an emergency;
1.6 to provide you with information about products, services and promotions that may be of interest to you unless you have asked us not to contact you;
1.7 to ensure that content from our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
1.8 for quality assurance testing, market analysis, systems testing, analysis of statistics, benchmarking, auditing and performance measures (which may include monitoring or recording your telephone conversations with us for the purposes set out herein);
1.9 for arranging and administering your insurance products;
1.10 for payment card verification and anti-fraud screening; and
1.11 for administrative and legal purposes (including handling complaints, claims and legal proceedings) and to apply our terms & conditions

Transfer of data

When you make a travel booking or other purchase via this web site, some of the personal data you provide will need to be passed to and processed and stored by relevant third parties, such as hoteliers, airlines, insurance companies and ground handling agents, so that they can provide you with the arrangements you require.  Some of these third parties may be based outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Organisations that are based outside of the EEA may not be subject to the same level of controls in regard to data protection as exist within the UK and the EEA. 
In order for you to travel overseas, we may be required to disclose certain parts of your personal data to government bodies or other authorities in the UK and in other countries, such as those responsible for immigration, border control, security and anti-terrorism.  Even if it is not mandatory for us to provide information to such authorities, we may exercise our discretion to assist them where appropriate.
We may disclose your personal information to relevant third parties for the purpose of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Retention of data

Finesse Travel Ltd  retains information for seven (7) years from our point of last contact.  We hold this information to support our legal and regulatory requirements.  If you object to this retention, please contact us – details provided in the ‘Contact’ section.

Finesse Travel Ltd applies technical and organisational security measures in line with industry good practices.
