Budapest and the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix Thursday 29 July 2021 (6 Days) PROVISIONAL DATE from £699 Show your preferred option under Special Request and we will adjust your invoice accordingly The Hungaroring has been challenging teams and drivers since it became the setting of the first race held behind the Iron Curtain in 1986. Budapest Budapest is a delightful city of two halves – one on either side of the river Danube . Buda is the more historic cosmopolitan side of the city, with cobbled streets and architectural delights. Pest is the more commercial side of the city with lots of great shopping to be had. Budapest is the capital city of Hungary and is an energetic town with great music and floating jazz clubs. It has attracted many artists and writers and is the birthplace of famous composers Bartók and Lisz. When on your Budapest city break see top sights such as the iconic Szechenyi Chain Bridge, the most beautiful bridge crossing the Danube, The Castle District including the Royal Palace, the National Gallery and the Matyas Church, the Parliament, the extraordinarily opulent State Opera House, and St Stephen’s Basilica. There are also a number of museums on the Castle Hill and in the city centre for you to explore. Budapest city breaks aren't complete without a boat trip on the Danube. Also, make the most of the chance to unwind in one of the cities famous hot sulphur baths and enjoy a relaxing massage. Budapest is famous for its café culture, as well as its unique Hungarian cuisine and excellent local wines. For the most part, the food and drink aren’t expensive, and the choice is huge. Visit a ‘borozó’ (wine pub) where the wine is served on tap at outrageously low prices Includes
